Almost ready

I'm very excited! This is my very first character concept for a miniature. Now it's time to refine the edges for a better 3d printing! Wish me good luck!

Posing

I'm very bad in posing...
so I've downloaded Mery rig from Meryproject.com (you can download she for free) to figure out some compositions, I had a ton of fun, maybe too much....will my next step be...animation?!?
Mery leg pose

This was my first attempt in animation...4 months after I start a Maya course...I was pretty happy :) dated February 2017

Displacement map TUTORIAL! Thanks Akin Bilgic!

I always have problems when I generate displacement maps...so I usually use GoZ to bypass this problem, but with Maya2017 you can't use this life-saver plugin...so I have the necessity to understand   the full process behind the generation.

Google brought me here to the amazing website of Akin Bilgic (...the name is so similar to Anakin <3) that have a tutorial section where he explains perfectly how to create and use a displacement map in Arnold for Maya, Vray in 3dmax, Cinema4D and Maya. Don't miss it!

Anatomy study, best routine?

Hey guys!
Actually I'm studying female anatomy, it's very difficult to create something acceptable that makes you say "ok, good job" that's the main reason why I'm not very active on the blog, but I often use Instagram stories to describe this frustrating days.

I'm trying to draw every day to bear in mind the muscles position...10 min every day of anatomy image study + 10 min of gesture drawing...I feel like I'm understanding a ton of me and how I work!

What's your routine to improve your skill set guys? :3 let's share!
